Handmade Nettle Cloth

Mid-heavy weight: Ideal for screens, window treatments, etc.

This fabric is handmade from the fibers harvested in wild nettle stems. Processed entirely by hand without the use of any dyes, bleaches or chemicals. It is then woven by hand on a traditional loom. The making of this nettle fabric is an ancient practice, and has been made in this region of China for many centuries.

It has a stiff hand and the weave is open enough to allow light to pass through.

• Spot clean by hand when possible. Hand wash, air dry flat. Do not soak, machine wash or use a dryer.
