Medium weight: suitable for heavier shirts or lightweight jackets, dressmaking, interior projects, etc

Vintage block printed handwoven cotton fabric, easy to sew, the back has varying degrees of ink spots from the printing table, in good condition. This was traditionally handmade as a dowry item and would be used for both bedding and everyday wear in rural China. With the growing availability of industrially made textiles, these rustic traditional fabrics were handed down as heirlooms.

Due to the nature of hand prints, the prints are not perfect- but these imperfections are what we believe make them more beautiful.
