Japanese Hakeme Cotton - Indigo
Medium/heavy weight: suitable for some shirting, dressmaking, interior projects, upholstery etc
This cotton is dyed with traditional Japanese botanical indigo that is farmed locally, and woven by a small mill on Honshu that still specializes in these age old traditions.
Woven using slubby (thick and thin) yarns to create a unique texture that is not uniform. It is a dark indigo blue
